Shirin Tea was created in a moment that called for stillness.
During a deeply challenging time in my life, I began researching botanicals known to support calm, clarity, and emotional balance. What emerged was this blend, carefully layered not just for flavor, but for feeling.
Saffron, long valued for its ability to support neurological pathways and uplift the spirit, rests at the heart of this tea. It’s paired with soothing oat straw, calming holy basil, and a gentle base of rooibos to create a soft, grounding infusion.
Inspired by the flavors of Persian jeweled rice, I added notes of orange, the tart brightness of barberries, a whisper of pistachio, and delicate rose petals to round the experience.
The result is a beautifully balanced cup, calming, lightly sweet, and softly complex. When brewed, it reveals a light golden infusion with a subtle saffron glow, delicate and luminous rather than deep or heavy.
This is more than tea. It’s a moment to breathe.
Tasting notes: Lightly sweet, citrus-kissed, gently tart with soft floral warmth
Caffeine-free: Perfect for evening or moments of reset
Brewing Ritual

A full steep will bring out stronger, saffron notes, and a fullness Of the orange and barbari which is reminiscent of sour cherry. It is a balanced note and not overpowering or sweet.
